the show's up!!!

Last evening was final rehearsal and tonight it opened. It is so very strange not to have something to do every single minute of my day/night. Although I have websites to maintain and a gallery show coming up I have decided to take it easy this week. I will work on these things but at a somewhat reduced pace and let the burnout dissipate.

sad day in daffodil-land

Not to long ago in Ann Arbor, the daffodils raised their smiling yellow faces to a warm, bright sun. They were hopeful, young, strong and a beautiful sign of spring. Since then, the realities of April in Michigan have dashed them about and broken their backs. Their faces meet hard, cold earth and they give in to snow and frigid temperates and weep.
